Afsaneh Ghafarian Rabe'I (Assen/Netherlands, 1992) is an Iranian-Dutch freelance photographer and visual artist based in Amsterdam.

Ghafarian Rabe'I's photography is defined by a clear sense of human interest—often depicting paradoxes and dualities in society. At face value, these social contrasts might seem insurmountable, yet her artistry, perseverance, and creative direction shed light on hidden commonalities.

Ghafarian Rabe'I's Iranian heritage plays a big part in shaping the narrative of her creative vision and she believes that cultural heritage can shape the future as well as it has the past.
